Senior Executive - Ops
Main Duties:
Accounting:
- Review and prepare financial statements;
- Maintain good working relationship with auditors;
- Review all tax returns; calculation of Tax liability; and preparation and/or review of NAV;
- Ensure all clients files are compliant to local and international law;
- Ensure that client’s operations are being performed as per constitutive documents, internal, local and international regulations;
- Ensure that internal and external deadlines are met;
- Monitor timesheet and ensuring timely submission of timesheet;
- Liaise with prospective clients and preparation of cost quotation;
- Review all accounting and tax work for the team;
- Review and close monitoring of pending list;
Administration:
- Organise and lead Board meetings and preparation of Board packs;
- Attend Board meetings and timely preparation of action points;
- Draft simple and complex minutes / resolutions;
- Maintain registers for companies;
- Statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies;
- Perform Due Diligence to be carried as per local regulations;
- Attend to compliance of files with the local regulations and international laws at all times and ensuring timely response of compliance reports and follow ups;
- Ensure compliance with Internal Control procedures;
- Ensure Client’s operations are being performed as per constitutive documents, internal, local and international regulations;
- Open of accounts with banks / custodians / brokers, including making necessary follow ups;
- Process payment instructions;
- Monitor operation of accounts with financial institutions;
- Attend to queries from the local regulatory body, banks, other service providers and any such authorities as applicable;
- Set up of structures and / or liquidation / winding up of structures;
- Carry out administrative and secretarial works as required on the portfolio of companies;
- Respond to general queries from client;
- Collate information as may be required for Management Reporting and / or General Statutory Surveys
- Conduct any other cognate duties as assigned by the Reporting line.
Qualifications:
- Degree in the relevant field (Finance/ Accounting/ Administration);
- Any qualification deemed equivalent by Management;
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the Global Business Sector;
- Experience in both accounting and administrative assignments;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
